Marjan Zamanian

Marjan's artistic journey began in Tehran, Iran, where creativity runs deep in her family's heritage. Growing up under the guidance of her father, Hamid Zamanian, an esteemed architect, she cultivated a deep appreciation for design's elegance and the harmony of form and function. Additionally, her cousin, the acclaimed artist Farid Jahangir, mentored her from an early age, igniting Marjan's lifelong passion for creative expression and profoundly influencing her artistic trajectory.

After studying Graphic Design at Azad University of Art, Marjan moved to the United States in 1997. She initially pursued Graphic Design and Art Direction, illustrating numerous children's books and earning recognition, including a "Best of Show" award for one of her paintings.

Transitioning into the digital realm, Marjan worked with top tech companies for over 15 years. Despite her digital success, she remained devoted to traditional art, regularly immersing herself in painting.

Over time, Marjan's style evolved from narrative-driven storytelling to embracing abstract art and contemporary aesthetics. She finds solace in simplicity, aiming for her art to complement any environment without overwhelming viewers.

Today, Marjan lives in Vacaville, CA, with her faithful dog, Leo. Balancing her role as a Product Designer with her passion for art, she continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic creations, crafting a tapestry of beauty and significance that transcends boundaries and inspires all who encounter it.
